We are all fired up!

Get Jerky in conjunction with VistaPrint are very excited to announce the launch of Dragon Jerky – our newest product in the Get Jerky family, that goes live on Saturday 10^th February.

We are a small Welsh-based business in Mid Wales that specialises in making the best quality hand-crafted jerky using premium PGI Welsh Beef and our secret blend of herbs and spices.

So, when the people at VistaPrint came to us to make the Dragon Jerky, made famous in their viral spoof YouTube video they produced in honour of Wrexham AFC’s Red Dragons, we were very excited but not surprised.

Get Jerky is a proud small Welsh family business led by our MD who happens to also be the President of the Culinary Association of Wales.  Arwyn Watkins OBE, has made it his life’s work to promote the culinary arts and Welsh food and drink; he also set up Get Jerky that produces the best Welsh jerky made from top-quality Welsh local ingredients.

To celebrate the launch of Dragon Jerky we will be giving away 1,000 exclusive sample bags at Wrexham AFC’s local The Turf on match day – Saturday 10^th February at 12 noon.  Make sure you’re there early, because once there gone they are gone!

So, look out for our Dragon Jerky truck and staff wearing Dragon Jerky T-shirts who’ll be giving out the free samples.  You can’t miss us thanks to the great Dragon Jerky branding, courtesy of VistaPrint.

As well as the free Dragon Jerky there’ll be lots of exciting things going on to help celebrate our Dragon Jerky launch – apart from of course the Wrexham AFC vs Bradford match at 3pm!  We will have a film crew making a mini docufilm to tell the story of how VistaPrint and Get Jerky teamed up to bring the infamous Dragon Jerky to life!

We’ve also got a sneaky suspicion that the Emmy award winning Welcome to Wrexham film crew might also be there to film the action.
