Here is his story & why he chooses jerky as his go-to snack…

Who are you?

Hi guys. My name is Mark Davies and I am the founder and owner of Online and one to one Personal Training company Zenith Fit.

How did you get into the PT business?

After spending year within sports and fitness as a child, teenager and young adult, I felt moving into the health and fitness industry a natural process. After dabbling in the Personal Training space in the United States and Sydney, I felt the next step was to start my own business, which has currently been up and running for just over 4 years. Long may it continue.Why do you think looking after yourself is important?

Looking after yourself is important for one monumental reason. Yes, it can help you feel better and also help transform your physique, but the sole reason to look after yourself is to prolong your lifetime. In my opinion of course. Everything else is a by-product of that sole aim.

Why do you think training others is important?

Training others is important due to the fact that it is important for people to train correctly, and efficiently. Far too often I see people training in a way that is not really beneficial to them physiologically, and therefore not beneficial to their motivation. By training others, I feel I help them gain the tools to take massive strides with their health and fitness goals.

What do you think is your greatest achievement?

I don’t really see myself as having achieved anything as of yet. I’m the kind of guy who is always striving to do better or be better. So, we’ll leave this space blank…..for now!!

Do you have a role model?

Yes, most definitely. I don’t just see myself as having one role model either. Fitness influencers on social media inspire me on a daily basis, but also my parents have really helped to inspire and push me to the point I’m currently at. They are a huge inspiration to me.

What made you try jerky?

We’ll I first tried Jerky while I was looking for a healthy snack, without too much fat and packed with protein. These snacks are not easy to find trust me. So, after scouring the shelves for a good 20 minutes, I finally came across Jerky, and realised that it’s the perfect high protein snack if you’re trying to improve your health and fitness.

Do you eat our jerky as a healthy snack & to #FindYourStrength? If so, why?

Yes! I love the taste and the texture. It’s such a great snack while on the go and you don’t want to reach for a packet of crisps or a chocolate bar. It helps me to keep lean all year round and staves off any hunger pangs I have in between meals.

What is your favourite Trailhead Get Jerky flavour & why?

We’ll I’ve got to say I like things spicy, so it’s got to be Raging Bull Chilli – however, I also like Spicy Chilli & Hot Smoked Chipotle as they pack a punch too!
