2 years of waiting is almost over for rally driver, Jason Pritchard, as he prepares to take part in the longest, toughest rally in the UK.
The car he’s driving has been rebuilt by Jason, his Dad, Tim Bevan Rallying, and North Road Garage.
Our team have known Jason for many years, and share a love of Motorsport & of course jerky, so are super excited to support him at this years RAC Rally!
“I got into rallying through my Dad. He was a successful driver himself winning many national events. As a young boy I’d help at nights to prepare the car and when possible go to help on events as well. When I turned 13 I started to compete in Auto-grass racing using a 1000cc mini, & finishing third overall at my first event hooked me on to competing myself!
“I’ve waited 2 years for my next chance to compete at this event. In 2017, having secured my third British Historic Championship in a row, I was full of confidence with myself and the car. That year the RAC rally returned after a few years sabbatical. Holding a comfortable lead on the third day we had a half shaft fail causing us to retire. It was certainly one of the lowest points of my racing career.”
